Sacrament of Baptism

Baptisms in English are held on the last Sunday of the month at both sites.  First time parents will need to attend a Baptism Preparation Class, which is held on the second Sunday of the month.  Please contact Sr. Zita at 271-5771 to schedule a baptism or register for the Baptismal Preparation class.

 

Sacrament of Reconciliation – Saturdays

9:15 am (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov).……………………….St. Joseph site

9:15 am (Feb, April, June, Aug, Oct, Dec)…………………………..St. James site

Preparation for the sacrament of Reconciliation is possible in two different ways depending on the age of the person.  Child prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation through the Religious Education program in our school and in our Religious Education Program.  Adults prepare through the RCIA program.

 

Sacrament of Confirmation

     Preparation Program for our young adults

The Good Shepherd Parish Confirmation Preparation Program provides sacramental preparation to young people grades 9 -12 who are seeking to celebrate Confirmation.  This program is part of our Religious Education program.  Meetings and instruction are presently on Sunday evenings at our St. James site.

Small group leaders, sponsors and guest speakers are always needed.

     Preparation for Adults

For adults who seek to celebrate Confirmation, preparation and instruction is provided through our RCIA program which begins in the Fall of the year and culminates with reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Easter Vigil Service on Holy Saturday.

 

Sacrament of Matrimony

Please contact the Pastor at Least 6 months in advance.  Bride, groom or parent must be a registered member for one year prior to contacting the pastor for a wedding.

 

Anointing of the Sick

Celebrated individually by appointment.
