Parish Festivals

Festival Volunteers :

Our Annual festivals’ are our largest fund-raising events of the year.  We presently have a Festival at each site.  The Festival at the St. Joseph Site takes place on a Sunday in Septembert.  There is a special two day rummage sale that takes place on both Saturday and Sunday of the festival.  This Festival is a true celebration of the diversity of the Angelo and Latino community of St. Joseph.  In 2011, the date of the Festival is September 17 and 18.  Contact person is Elaine Gundlach--gundlea@charter.net

The Festival at St. James takes place the second Sunday of November.   In 2011, the date of the Festival is November 13.  Contact person is Jean Schwartz—255-1656.

There are many levels of commitment depending on your time. Festival committee chairs and co-chairs should plan to serve for at least two years. We need many, many people to be involved in these parish events.  In fact, we need all parish members to be involved at some level.  It is a great way for parishioners to meet one another.

Activities during the Fall Festivals include

Raffle tickets,  Pie Contest,  Games for Children,

  Bake Sale,  Dinner,   Rummage Sale,

  Silent Auction,  Entertainment,  Snack Bar,

  Book Sale,  Craft Sale,  Pfferrerneuse,

  Televised Football Games and more.
